The Autoglide range…..What you need to know.
Measurements.
Autoglide is made to the exact sizes you supply us with and because each rail includes a belt driven mechanism to operate your curtains it is not possible to cut the rails once you take delivery of them. Because of this it is very important that you get the measurements of the window exactly right. First you will need to decide whether you want the curtains to be enclosed within the window recess or outside the window recess.

Measuring INSIDE the recess. Measure the distance from wall to wall and place your order using this measurement. Autoglide will make any equipment allowances based on this measurement.
Measuring OUTSIDE the recess. Measure the total distance you wish the track to cover. This should include the amount of overhang on each side of the window. Don’t forget the longest track we supply in a single length is 5m.
Fitting. If you have put up a traditional curtain rail or have average DIY competence you should have no problem putting up an Autoglide track system as each track is supplied made to measure and pre assembled as per you order, full fitting instructions are also included. When fitted your Autoglide system will be virtually invisible. The belt mechanism is cleverly hidden inside the tracking and the whole track itself can be hidden by the curtains. The motor and control units can also be discreetly obscured behind the curtains.
Please note. The maximum recommended weight for curtains running on an Autoglide system is 15kg.
Power. Autoglide requires a 220/240 volts power supply. All you need to do when your track has been fitted is simply plug into a standard 13 amp power socket. The tracks are assembled with both left and right hand motors to suit the position of your power sockets.
Should you experience a power cut you will be able to operate to the curtains manually by unhooking the leading edge of the curtains.
